Sheep milk info, raw pastured sheep milk, $13 per half gallon, more nutritious than cow or goat milk and easier to digest, firstname.lastname@example.org or call for more information 503-581-1750.
Ewes are pastured with some supplemental alfalfa in summer and Union Point Sheep granola while they are in the milking stand. Sheep milk info, raw pastured sheep milk, $13 per half gallon, more nutritious than cow or goat milk and easier to digest. Gallons for $25 and people can bring a 1/2 gallon to exchange or pay a jar deposit. Added bonus for sheep milk is the nutritional profile: more protein, higher fat, higher vit. A, D, C, E, B12, folate, calcium, magnesium, and iron than either cow or goat, higher proportion of short and medium fatty acids making it easier to digest and good for cholesterol levels. And that’s not all sheep’s milk also has high CLA levels. Cow milk digests in 4-6 hours, goat 2-4 hours, sheep milk 20 minutes. Makes great yogurt and keifer.

Detailed Brochures (pdf) White River Lamb and White River Ducks
White River Lamb Company offers a "deliciously different" alternative to meat found at the grocery
store. The difference is in our method, philosophy, and production practices. Our lambs NEVER see confinement, and spend their lives converting grass and natural forages into consumable protein... The only additives are their mothers' rich milk, until weaning, and free choice essential minerals. Our ducks live their lives on pasture only returning to their huts at dark each evening for safety from predators. We have 4 mobile duck huts on the ranch, and they are moved daily to ensure fresh pasture and feed for the ducks. Each hut houses 40 hens, and are equipped with rain collectors, and a solar charger to power the security wire at night and the lights during the winter months to keep the ducks laying.
